In The Works: New Server, New Software, New Look and Father’s Day

Don’t you just hate blogfade? You know – just when you start to depend on a Web site, come to look forward to the writers’ razor-sharp wit and keen insight, and then all of the sudden new content evaporates like a summer shower, leaving you nothing but an archive of things past to ponder.

Yeah, we hate that, too. Good thing that’s not what’s happening here. No sir! The Geek Beat is still here, and we got plenty up our sleeves for you. (more…)

In The Works: Under-$2K 47-inch HDTV, iPhone, WidePod, and Capsule Reviews

In The Works: 21 Days

posted Sunday, September 24th, 2006, by Andy Gore

Hard to believe it’s only been three weeks since we officially launched The Geek Beat. In that time we’ve had over 75,000 visitors and apparently some of you found enough of interest to keep you coming back. Go figure.

During those 21 days we published a new review or analysis story just about every day – even on the weekends. And while we may not always be able to maintain that pace, we’ll be working every spare moment to bring you the latest from the Geekdom. And hopefully what stories there are will always inform, entertain and surprise. (more…)
