The Geek Beat Podcast

For those of you who’ve read the crew bios, you’ll know a number of The Geek Beat’s contributors, myself included, have a background in radio. So it’s only natural we’d want to take this show on the road, or to the airwaves, or to your local pod-catcher.
Right now we’re exploring several options. Because Mario and I have both worked with KABC Radio Los Angeles and I continue to do quarterly tech segments for The Pete Wilson Show on KGO Radio San Francisco, we’re talking to a few program directors we know, floating a demo of a live call-in radio show about all things geek.
Of course, getting on the airwaves is as much a matter of luck as it is talent, so if for any reason traditional radio (or even satellite radio) don’t embrace our genius, we’re still going ahead with the canned version of The Geek Beat show, ready for download to an MP3 player near you.
So stay tuned. Hopefully we’ll soon add “hearing” to the list of senses we assault here at The Geek Beat.
